In this class we will go over the movie production process (idea, writing, pre-production, production, post-production, distribution) and talk about the journey we went through together. Lastly, we will learn about animating with our bodies: pixilation. We will leave a lot of room in this class for answering questions about finalizing the films.
Learning Goal: Children will understand the movie production process and be able to define the 6 steps.
Children will be empowered and excited to finish their films at home and make even more!
Role of Parents: Parents should act as the “producer” for these films. It is a producer’s job to keep the production moving and on track with the story. Parents should also help with the more technical aspects such as adding audio and editing.
